Greenhand Conference
On September 9, 2005, Tyler Garver, Chyann Ebert,
Monica Ebert, Mark Jack, and Blake Hinkle attended the FFA Greenhand Conference in Rossville. At the conference they took
an FFA information test and learned more about the FFA. The high scorer was Monica Ebert. While they were there they learned
leadership and teamwork skills that they will need in the future. When someone is a Greenhand in FFA, that means that they
are a first year member.
Land
Judging
On September 27, 2005, several members
attended the Land Judging, Nursery Landscape, and Entomology CDE's at Jackson Heights High School. In the Nursery Landscape
CDE, Kristen Oliver was the high scorer with 144 pts, and in the Land Judging CDE, Paige Crum Plummer was the high scorer
with 241 pts. Also the Land Judging team placed 5th overall in the B-team Division.
