Rock Creek FFA Labor Auction
On February 23, 2009, at 7:00, in the Rock Creek Agricultural Shop Building, the Rock Creek
FFA members sat down and were auctioned off. Bruce Kocher attended as the auctioneer. He called each member
up and auctioned them off while people bid on them and they were quickly sold. The floor bid was $30. Once they
were bought they had to give a slip with their name and number on it to the buyer and had to agree to work eight
hours for the buyer. We had about 38 members that were there out of 40 and our FFA Advisor David Holliday,
so it was great that so many of them came. There was also some cookies and brownies that some members brought. When
everyone was sold William Trieb auctioned off a variety of items including a rabbit, cakes, gift cards, and several different
items. The money from the items are going towards his Washington Leadership Conference in the summer. When
it was over the officers collected the money from everyone and we came up with over $2000. Rock Creek FFA would
like to thank all the people who bought FFA members to support our club.
